چکیده

Adhesive capsulitis (AC) is a painful frozen shoulder disease that continues for more than 3 months, also known as shoulder. The glenohumeral joint capsule fibrosis results from this inflammatory accompanied by substantial range of motion limitation and gradually advancing stiffness (typically external rotation). findings study will support better outcomes adhesive patients in our local population terms pain reduction decline SPADI score. Objective: To compare functional outcome steroid injection vs intra-articular rotator interval the treatment early Place Duration study: Department Orthopedic Surgery, MTI-HMC, Peshawar 27 Feb, 2021 to Aug, 2021. Study Design: Randomized Control Trial. Methods: Patients were randomly allocated both groups through blocked randomization. Group A was subjected injections whereas B Injection interval. Results: As per groups, A, 51 (85.0%) showed effective while B, 42 (70.0%) results.

Frozen shoulder syndrome: comparison of oral route corticosteroid and intra-articular corticosteroid injection.

Twenty-six patients with frozen shoulder syndrome (Stage 2 and 3) were included in this study conducted at Dr. Kariadi General Hospital, Semarang, Indonesia and randomly allocated into 2 groups: 40 mg triamcinolone intra-articular injection and triamcinolone oral tablets. The result showed that triamcinolone intra-articular injection group "cured" rate was 5.8 times higher at week one compared ...

A randomized controlled trial of intra-articular prolotherapy versus steroid injection for sacroiliac joint pain.

OBJECTIVES Controversy exists regarding the efficacy of ligament prolotherapy in alleviating sacroiliac joint pain. The inconsistent success rates reported in previous studies may be attributed to variability in patient selection and techniques between studies. It was hypothesized that intra-articular prolotherapy for patients with a positive response to diagnostic block may mitigate the drawba...
